We first opened our doors in 1987. After diligently operating from home for five years, selling via mail order only to all the schools in SA, we were given a miracle break by Tom Berry, the inventor/owner of FLIP FILE, when he offered us operating space in his factory.

In those days we only sold filing pockets/sleeves and Flip File ‘seconds’. Every file was checked by a staff member before being distributed to the schools all over the country.  After operating from Tom’s premises for 11 years, we were bursting at the seams and eventually bought our own premises around the corner for our own factory.

We attribute our success to our ability to listen to what the customer wants. For example, one of our customers wanted library book plastic and asked us to secure the stock for her school. So off we went and due to this ‘tip-off’, our Library Supply section has become one of our biggest lines.

Today, we have 900 stationery items in stock. We also offer document binding, laminating, rubber stamps, photocopying, printed labels, computer cartridge refilling and new computer cartridges – and stock a full range of copy shop and stationery items.

We enjoy our magic formula of looking after the schools and customers. Our shop has become the focal point in the area with our ‘graffiti’ painted building and ability to always try out new and exciting methods of attracting customers.
